Case Studies

Wow, I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with such diverse companies and in various situations, ranging from Fortune 10 corporations to dynamic start-ups, and from gaming to complex management systems. Through these experiences, I've gained invaluable insights and learned some important lessons. I've discovered that every project is unique, and the methods and processes needed can vary greatly. However, I've also learned that by applying proven UX methodologies in the right way and at the right time, you can always make a positive and compelling impact on your users and the organizations you work with.

Please view the case studies for more details about each project.

I can be available to discuss them in greater detail upon request.

UX Design Processes

USER RESEARCH & TESTING

If you want to create a top-notch user experience, it's crucial to conduct User Research and Testing early and frequently throughout the UX process. These methods will help you gather valuable insights about user behaviors and delivery systems. Plus, metrics and analytics can inform all other aspects of UX design and provide a crucial benchmark that you can use to measure and improve your product or service throughout its entire life cycle. So, why not invest in these methods and set your product or service up for success?

INFORMATION ARCHITECHTURE (IA)

Hey, did you know that Information Architecture (IA) is one of the critical design activities that is fundamental to a successful UX practice? By developing a well-vetted IA, you can create a solid foundation for the Interaction Design and Visual Design phases of your project. IA is all about labeling, classifying, and organizing a digital experience, and it plays a crucial role in shaping the overall user experience. So, if you want to create a seamless, intuitive, and user-friendly digital experience, make sure to prioritize IA from the get-go!

INTERACTION DESIGN (IXD)

Let's talk about Interaction Design (IxD), a crucial aspect of UX design! Did you know that the majority of IxD planning, thought, and documentation should be completed before visual design begins? That's because IxD sets the foundation for the behavioral aspects of your digital UX, which is so important for creating a seamless and user-friendly experience. To achieve this, you'll want to create comprehensive and informed Personas, Customer Journey Maps, Workflows, and wireframes that provide a solid behavioral architecture for your project. This step is essential in delivering timely and valuable user experiences that meet your users' needs. So, invest in IxD early on, and you'll set yourself up for success!

VISUAL DESIGN & RAPID PROTOTYPING

Hey there, let's talk about Visual Design and the crucial role it plays in creating a memorable user experience! Did you know that your users get their first impression of your product or service from its visual design? That's why it's so important to ensure that your visual design is not only effective and compelling but also carefully tailored to synthesize the previous work done in the UX process. To achieve this, your visual design must be customized to conform to any styling and brand standards while accurately representing the layouts and functions of the vetted wireframes and interactive design specifications. Plus, it's essential to prepare your visual design in a way that lends itself to implementation and front-end coding by the appropriate engineering personnel. By following these best practices, you can create a stunning visual design that wows your users and delivers an exceptional user experience!
